Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with at least five years of experience working on “Yellow Iron” heavy construction equipment, especially Volvo and Hyundai. This is a first-shift, Monday-Friday position with work split between the shop and field service-most repairs are done at customer locations with all travel being local. What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment at customer sites and in the shop
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems efficiently
Use eService to document repairs, billable time, and job status
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repairs and recommendations in a professional manner. Ensure safety compliance in all work areas and follow established procedures.
What You Need:
Minimum 5 yrs. (“Yellow Iron”) heavy construction equipment experience, especially with Volvo, Hyundai brands. We do also service other brands, but these are our two main manufacturers for heavy construction. CDL B and DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain within 60 days-company paid)
Your own tools (company provides $50,000 theft insurance coverage)
Ability to pass MVR, background checks, and drug testing (including marijuana)
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of hydraulic systems
Computer proficiency for documenting work orders and tracking billable time
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction

Position Summary
