Summary: Maintains all facilities for Elevate Academy
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers.
Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.
Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, and shampoo carpets.
Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.
Lock and unlock assigned buildings, secure buildings when facilities are not in use, check for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants, and turn off lights.
Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within sixteen feet of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an incidental basis.
Wash accessible interior and exterior windows. Clean blinds. Launder cleaning rags and dust mops.
Keep record of Fire Drills
Manage compliance with annual safety and building inspectors, including state inspections and local inspections for fire suppression hoods.
Support the maintenance of grounds inducing weed control, watering, sprinkler repair, and relationships with outside lawn care providers.
Evaluate all maintenance employees.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May occasionally supervise students.

The position is a full-functioning, journey level Mechanic position performing routine maintenance and repair duties on vehicles and equipment, including light and heavy shop tools and equipment, gasoline and diesel assets including, but not limited to, pickup trucks, dump trucks, track hoes, loaders, backhoes, lawnmowers, weed eaters, pipe saws and tampers, electric brakes, steering systems, air brakes, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning units, refuse, snow and ice equipment and passenger vehicles. Mechanics must have their own tools (see minimum tool requirement list).
The job requires knowledge of the maintenance, repair, fabrication, welding and operation of power tools and specialized diagnostic equipment. The job requires the ability to maintain a collaborative and cooperative working relationship with elected and appointed officials, other City employees, other organizations, and the public.
The work environment is a vehicle and equipment maintenance shop environment with some work being done at job sites in a public street environment that includes hazards involving the use of power tools and equipment, moving vehicles, and may occasionally include exposure to adverse weather conditions and traffic hazards. The noise level is generally moderate but with occasional exposure to noisy and/or loud equipment.
The job is an on-call position, responding to emergency situations. Employees designated as immediate response personnel must live thirty (30) minutes or less from their usual daily work site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs routine, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair on City equipment and vehicles in repair shop and on job sites, as needed. Determines if equipment is safe to operate and releases for operation.
* Responds to calls of equipment with mechanical and/or safety problems, determining if repairs can be made on site or if vehicle must be towed back to shop.
* Performs diagnostic and repair work on major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, and systems including, but not limited to, power and drive trains, electrical, heating and air conditioning, fuel, emissions, brake, steering, hydraulic, and related systems.
* Performs a variety of inspections to determine condition of vehicles and equipment, necessary repairs and maintenance, and performs maintenance and repairs as needed. Maintains vehicle and equipment compliance with air quality and emission standards.
* Maintains inspection, maintenance, and repair parts, fluids, supplies, records, documentation, and logs. Maintains and repairs shop and repair equipment. Maintains shop building and grounds, including snow removal.
* Stays current on knowledge and skills by attending training sessions and staying current on technical publications. Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures, and safety practices. Performs other duties as assigned. ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

Talent Matrixx is engaged in a search for a Gulfstream Aircraft Mechanic in Boise, Idaho. Your core responsibility is on G650ER and/or G280 aircraft. Minimum Qualifications:
5 years aviation maintenance experience with advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance of mid/large-size aircraft.
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule and complete tasks in order to meet flight schedule.
Assist management, as required, with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians in proper procedures and techniques of trouble shooting airframe and engine systems, routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Ensure all required components are ordered for timely availability.
Send items out for rework/repair as needed. Receive and inspect upon return.
Perform engine runs on aircraft as required.
Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes (ASCs), Customer Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information and all other procedures, publications and general knowledge pertaining to aircraft maintenance and servicing.
Perform required periodic maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
Perform post and pre-flight inspection and trouble shoot mechanical malfunctions such as fluid leaks and minor structural damage.
Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment, such as power supply, hydraulic rig, nitrogen filler cart, and oxygen service cart.
Operate and supervise use of special support equipment used in removal and installation of major components.
Assist in maintaining work schedules and updating of CMP cards. Review work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
Review daily job charging to ensure accuracy of charges to aircraft.
Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance (i.e Aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, engine removal, installation, rigging, schedule and unscheduled inspections, and major or minor sheetmetal/structural repairs or alterations).
Advanced working knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs and structural repair manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, etc.).
