Position Summary
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic and intermediate preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.

Create and complete work order entries. Maintain work order and vehicle maintenance records.

Lead and/or assist with the physical parts inventory, receiving and proper charge out of parts to work orders.

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.
Job Functions:
Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
Assist customers with roadside services
Provide preventative maintenance services
Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Loves)
