Job Description
Responsibilities:
Calling on the non-acute care government market including emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, prisons, department of health, and board of commissioners offices;
• Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing/procurement managers;
• Selling products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care, minor procedure kits, and gloves; Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services;
• Developing meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers;
• Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities;
• Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations;
• Preparing bids and negotiating contracts
• Taking ownership and leadership of your territory-- growing it like your own business
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience.
Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization;
Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensus
Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels;
Background in commissioned, tangible product sales;
Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;
Ability to present multiple product lines;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Stable work history;
Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel 80%, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required.
This is a fully commissioned position with additional incentive compensation. This role includes a first-year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more. This role is bonus-eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

What Health System Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
Health System Pharmacy is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes.
Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Specialty Hospital of San Antonio South Campus, and we are currently recruiting for a full-time Pharmacist to work 32 hours per week, including every other weekend. The facility is open Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 2PM. This position may float to the North campus as well.
Job Summary
Working in a hospital system pharmacy outsourced to Cardinal Health, the Pharmacist II adjusts and dispenses medication to patients and drives the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy. The Pharmacist verifies physician orders using the pharmacy information system, makes adjustments according to protocols for a given medication, and provides patient education. This job also supervises Pharmacy Technicians and manages compliance tasks related to accreditation, narcotics control, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
* Applies expert knowledge of drugs and related protocols, to verify physician orders for medications using pharmacy information system. Checks drug and dose in relation to stated patient issue and addresses automated alerts from the system regarding drug type, dose, and other metrics.
* Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy. Checks all work of Pharmacy Technicians in line with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and provides guidance on complex prescriptions, pharmacy automation systems, orders, and other issues.
* Adjusts dosages based on established protocols for each drug, ensuring that dosages are appropriate for the patient's condition and in light of other medications the patient is using and completes clinical tasks related to antimicrobial stewardship.
* Educates patients on the proper use and expected effects of medications, especially when patients are using multiple medications, are beginning new regiments, or are being discharged.
* Manages narcotics and inventory control and compliance, including regular documentation and completion of checklists. Audits outdated medication in states where Pharmacy Technicians are not permitted to do so.
* Contacts Nurses and Physicians as necessary to verify orders and obtain additional information regarding the order.
* Assists the Pharmacy Director in maintaining the pharmacy's accreditation and in implementing operational changes within the pharmacy, such as the use of new systems or adjustments of standard procedures.
Qualifications
* Licensed, "good standing" pharmacist in the state of Texas required
* In-patient hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
* Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call as needed
* IV certification required
* Ability to hear, write, and speak clearly in order to communicate with customers and health care professionals
* Strong customer service skills.
* Manual dexterity required for occasional reach, lifting and holding of small objects.
* Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Texas Pharmacy Technician license required
ACPE IV Certification required
National pharmacy technician registration preferred
Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. Past IV experience is a plus
Will successfully complete Cardinal Health's nuclear pharmacy technician training program or has been a previous nuclear pharmacy technician
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle

Job Summary

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Identify diagnoses to be used in care management and active medical management in the furtherance of treatment
+ Formulate a list of current and past medical conditions using clinical knowledge and judgment and the findings of your assessment
+ Communicate findings in your assessment that will be used to inform member's PCP of potential gaps in care

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years of clinical experience in their highest level of education, clinical setting
+ May be requested to obtain additional licensure in other geographic areas

+ Home Health care or home visit experience
+ Ability to travel throughout the state, beyond your assigned region, up to 5% of the time. Based on business needs with advanced notice, eligible for additional compensation incentives
