Job Summary
The Academic Enhancement Center's part-time tutors provide academic tutorial support to currently enrolled GGC students. Part-time tutors engage in student success initiatives, such as study skills workshops, professional development training, and promotional events. This PT Tutor position works to ensure students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become independent learners with an emphasis on supporting English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish-speaking students.

Job Summary
The Academic Enhancement Center's (AEC) part-time tutor (Science) provides academic tutorial support to currently enrolled GGC students. Mathnasium is a math-only learning center for students in grades 2 - 12. Our students receive customized learning plans, proprietary teaching materials, and one-on-one instruction. Join us for the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life by passing on your love for math!
We are seeking part-time math tutors for Mathnasium Learning Center in Braselton, GA. The preferred candidate will be a current high-school junior with a record of great academic achievement and a desire to work with students in grades 2 - 8 on a variety of mathematics topics. We provide paid training, ongoing professional development, and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
* Exceptional math skills through Algebra I and Geometry
* Desire to teach and motivate young learners
* Energetic and confident personality
* Ability to communicate with professionalism to students and their parents
* Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Our learning center environment is supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to success. Instructors must pass a background check and math literacy test.
Schedule & Pay
Instructors should be able to work from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at least two days each week.
Weekly schedules are flexible based on your needs.
Instructors may work between 6 and 12 hours each week, based on your preferences.
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
