QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 year of experience working within a warehouse, ideally within a distribution environment but
willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution pulling, cutting, packing and shipping orders. Must be able to meet required daily goals.
Team player who can also work with little supervision and willing to give 120%.
Must be detail oriented, organized and meticulous about your work
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly + stand/and or be on your feet 8hrs a day
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Computer experience using Excel, Word and Outlook
Familiar with AS9100 requirements is a huge plus

: Capital Programs and Facilities Management (CPFM) is committed to planning, developing, and maintaining a safe, sustainable, and high-quality learning and working environment for the campus community. Facilities Management provides oversight of university resources and assets and is responsible for the development of the University's facilities including land use planning, capital improvement, project development, construction, as well as facilities operations and maintenance including custodial services, landscape services, building trade services, mechanical and electrical, and recycling services. We seek an exceptional individual to join our Material Control Center team as the Warehouse Worker. Under general supervision of the Supply Chain Operations Manager, or their designee, for Capital Programs and Facilities Management (CPFM), the Warehouse Worker performs various functions, including receiving, material handling, and inventory. Loads and unloads materials, furniture, packages and equipment to and from delivery trucks and carriers. Operates forklifts, delivery trucks, lift gates, dollies, hand trucks, safety equipment and warehouse equipment. Sorts and stages items for counting and inspection. Provides accurate recording of receivables and deliverables and catalogs items.
Transports and delivers materials from central warehouse to inventory control, storage areas and various campus locations/departments in an efficient and safe manner. Disposes of old materials and equipment. Orders, picks up and delivers materials. Assists with inventory counts and tracking materials, parts and equipment. Performs visual and written inspections of materials. Tags, labels, binds and palletizes items. Stacks, organizes and packages items. Stocks and replenishes bins, shelves and storage containers. Organizes and cleans warehouse and storage areas. Inputs data into inventory system. Inputs data into work/service order systems. Processes and fills orders. Uses computer, bar coding and scanning equipment for daily assignments. Assists with writing and logging procedures. Responds to calls, emails and in-person requests, inquiries and issues. Provides quality and excellent customer service.
The Warehouse Worker champions efficiency and organization while working with various groups on and off campus in order to support the university's mission, vision, and values in higher education. The Warehouse Worker works well in a team environment and understands the balance of taking ownership, sharing duties, and taking initiative to complete tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
Experience in the receipt, storage, or issuance and delivery of materials from a centralized stockroom or warehouse, including experience in the operation of forklift trucks and similar power-operated material handling equipment. Experience driving large vehicles and vehicles pulling trailers. Ability to match names and numbers quickly and accurately; keep simple records and make simple reports; read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; make simple mathematical calculations; apply safe methods of moving heavy supplies and equipment. Physical ability to perform physical labor. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy items. Ability to carry/lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds. Ability to observe safety requirements and safe work practices and methods. Ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of people and provide excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of methods, practices and equipment used in receiving, storing, packing and shipping materials and supplies. General knowledge of methods of taking inventories and maintaining inventory records. Skills in using a computer to enter and retrieve information and to communicate using e-mail. Ability to adapt to daily changing situations and schedules.
