Job Description: Warehouse Technician This role is 100% Onsite Work schedule is 8AM - 4PM EST **There are now TWO openings for this role** Receive, store and issue the raw materials, packaging components and operational supplies used to support manufacturing operations. Handling samples of materials used to conduct testing or special assignments. Performs shipping and Inventory Cycle Count functions in supporting other warehouse operations and plant needs. Receives purchased materials (raw materials, supplies, packaging components, narcotics, and dangerous substances), makes visual inspections to the cargo, verifies (by counting and / or weighing) proper identification and records the information in the inventory control systems(s). 2. Maintains and generates transactions in the SAP environment and handles damaged / shortages / excess / or missing orders following the Materials Damages & Claim Procedure. 3. Removes the samples to be used for analysis of raw materials and packaging components received and the samples used for re-evaluation of the existing materials. 4. Stores materials as per applicable status, according to the current GMP's and keeps working areas clean and organized. 5. Transfer material from warehouse to Production lines and / or receive back-to-stock materials from / to the warehouse following the current procedure. 6. Keeps data in the inventory control systems (manual and /or computerized) update and accurate, including the freight containers inventory. Participates in Cycle Counting process as per Inventory Control Procedure. Prepares physically materials for shipment and ensure that materials are correctly picked for shipping, as per their applicable status and according to the current GMP's and loading of trucks. 7. Operates and maintains the warehouse equipment (Radios, Forklift, etc). 8. Handles and disposes properly rejected material, dangerous goods, potentially dangerous goods and regulated hazardous waste into a designated on-site disposal facility of interim container. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble and install racking according to the warehouse layout. Disassemble old racking; sort, bind and store by dimensions. Move and make changes to existing racking. Measure, outline and paint truck and farm area according to layout. Move product to new racking, according to new layout charting. Install signs and labels in bins, dock doors, etc. Responsible for unloading semi-trailers and/or assisting the loader for semi-trailers and route trucks. Use equipment and tools provided daily accurately and safely to verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products. Tires/products should be in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED preferred * Good written communication skills * 1-2 years experience preferred * Proficient in Microsoft office preferred * Previous warehouse experience preferred * Ability to lift up to 50lbs Responsibilities * Capable of working for prolonged periods of time to in refrigerated temperatures for up to 12 hours per day. * Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. * Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed. * Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
