Contact carrier representatives to plan for shipping and receiving materials
Resolves internal and external issues to ensure department is efficient in meeting customer needs
Communicates the coordination of and instructions for shipping and receiving materials with carrier representatives
Approaches the coordination of shipping methods to encourage the least amount of environmental impact possible
Compiles and prepares import/export reports and documents
Regularly communicates any safety or job-related concerns

* Daily loading and unloading of products. * Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise. * Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy. * Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed. * Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
* Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
* Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
* Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
* Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
* Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
* Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
* Wear appropriate PPE.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications
* 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
* Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
