Responsibilities:
Trucker: Deliver bins of completed work to each packing station. Remove bin lids. Remove bins after they are emptied at each station. Transport bins of plated material. Help stack box and carton bales in proper place.
Conveyor: Remove completed cartons from end of conveyor line and stack on kids per pre-arranged counts. Remove skids from line with hand truck and move to shipping doorway. Replace on line with empty skid Get carton bundles from mezzanine. Stack bales of boxes and cartons - cut ties.
Must concentrate on safety constantly, especially if driving the Tow Motor. Must always be watchful for pedestrians. Must remember to lift properly and not to lift beyond capacity.
Must maintain verbal communication with persons in the Department. Must have the ability to understand written communications issued by the Foreperson and/or Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with operating some kind of industrial truck equipment and/or working as a Material Handler, preferably in a Packing Department.
To be a Material Handler for the conveyor will take 2-3 days to learn the routine and 1-2 weeks to master it.
It takes approximately 1-2 weeks to learn the safety and operating fundamentals of the Tow Motor with someone acting as an instructor and backup. Tow Motor driving begins the second day. It takes 2-3 additional months to master it.
Average intelligence and common sense. Must be safety conscious.

· Drive the company truck and/or van to make pick-ups and deliveries as required.
· Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
· Operate Pallet Jack and forklift as required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school education or equivalent and 0-1 years of experience on the job. Must have a valid US driver's license with Class E certification. Driving experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age for insurance. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Fundamental computer skills required.
The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $19.34/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
