The Receiver is responsible for ensuring all products are delivered to their assigned department or area The Receiver may also pack out and stock product and materials to ensure continuous availability for venue staff. The goal is to accelerate business development by keeping all venues accurately and efficiently stocked for smooth operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Remove pallets from delivery trucks and ensure product is accurately received, stocked, and replenished. - Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products. - Store incoming deliveries in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, coolers, etc. - Separate received orders by venue; moving, handling, and transporting product to each department carefully and accurately. - Reports damages or shortages to Supervisor. - Understand and prepare for the physical demands of moving product the majority of his/her shift and follow proper lifting guidelines to ensure safe moving and placement of product. - Appropriately organize materials and product, and stock to set up venues for sales success. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Receive shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution by Department. - Maintain knowledge of shipments, vendors, and suppliers. - Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment. - Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching. - Monitor shelves and restock when needed. - Stay well organized and able to multitask, while being attentive to detail. - Think quickly and problem solve to resolve issues. - Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
