Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Visiting warehouses or partner locations on a set schedule.
Empty collection bins and place materials into a Gaylord for pickup.
Replace the bags in the bins after collecting the material.
Be an extension of us and represent Happen Ventures by holding a valued relationship with our partner by answering any questions (to the best of your knowledge)
Keep the collection area organized and clean.
Restock the supply racks with clean PPE.
Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Job Purpose:
Assist Management in implementing safety programs that meet and exceed regulations, company and customer requirements and ensure that these objectives are communicated to all workers.
Responsibilities:

Assist the location manager in implementing safety programs and policies as determined by MRC Global Safety Team.
Stay current with all MRC Global Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols.

Assist Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and branch management in hazard and risk assessments, safety inspections, behavior-based observations and the identification of safety improvement opportunities;
Facilitate management's recognition for employee participation in safety programs and initiatives as well as individual and team performance;
Maintain, report, and file safety and health-related records;

Qualifications:

Knowledge of or ability to learn MRC warehouse operations and business processes;

Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
Be available to travel to various locations during the day as the business needs with equipment.

Material handlers are essential to the daily operation of every business, moving inventory, tools, and production supplies safely from warehouses to power plants, industrial sites, and office facilities. As the Temporary Material Handler, here's the work you'll do:

* Facilitate and maintain a safe work environment and a trained workforce, committed to the best practices in the industry.

* Keep the warehouse organized and tidy and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.

Job Category: Mx Materials Maintains, ships, and handles aircraft parts and material. Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for maintenance. * Accurately issues and or delivers parts and materials to various departments. Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for Maintenance using the computer tracking system and other resources.
* Ensures proper handling of aircraft parts during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage, flight cancellations or delays.
* Performs accurate and timely computer system transactions including parts/materials issue and returns, warehouse transfers and bin transfers.
* Receives and inspects parts and materials. Logs information in computer.
* Ensures parts/materials are properly stored, identified and comply with Shelf Life programs.
* Expedites past-due repair and purchase orders for critical spare requirements.
* Maintains awareness of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) to prevent entry of SUP into Company inventories.
* Performs shipping functions of both hazardous/non-hazardous material using a variety of options, including creating and delivering counter to counter shipments for air transport.
* Reviews the computer system daily for open requisitions to determine if requested parts/materials are still needed and to cancel/delete outdated requisitions. Conducts inventory cycle counts. Accurately reports discrepancies.
* Works with different departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to support the organization.
* Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life, hazardous shipping files and various FAA audits.
* Maintains tooling needed to perform maintenance tasks.
* Maintains a secure, clean and orderly stockroom per Company policies and procedures and FAA requirements.
* Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations. Follows and complies with all Environmental Protection Agency polices that impact the airline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

A Brief Summary of This Position
Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the General Shop Help position in Midland, Pennsylvania Coatings Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will prepare products and materials for the galvanizing process by hanging angle on spreader bars, staging tubular products, and preparing small parts for galvanizing.
Essential Functions
* Inspect and ensure the safe use and disposition of production fixtures, chains and hooks
* Hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing
* Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking
* Move lightweight pieces of steel by hand from different locations in the plant and yard
* Perform paddling functions to enhance the quality level of the various galvanized products using air guns to blow off zinc needles
* Use air or electric powered tools to help prepare or clean up steel for pickling or galvanizing
* Assist in general plant clean up and housekeeping
* Work safely, protecting self and others from accident and injury
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:
* The ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
* The ability to accurately read a tape measure
* The ability to communicate problems or needs to departmental supervision
* The ability to lift up to 50 pounds from ground to shoulder height or higher
* Must be a physically able to stand for long periods of time (length of shift) in open air environment; wear PPE; maintain safe work environment
* Must have a high awareness for safety at all times
* Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
Highly qualified candidates will also possess:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Six months of previous experience in a galvanizing position
* Six months of previous experience with hand tools and gauges including impact wrenches, air grinders, drills, taps, oxygen acetylene torches, and mill gauges
* Six months of previous experience operating a bridge crane
* The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
* The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
* Certification of heavy equipment operation including forklift
