Return leftover material used in jobs back to inventory in a timely fashion. Do regular cycle counts (monthly) as needed or requested. Box up all outgoing products each day. Ship via UPS Online, Fed-Ex, etc. and ensure that all paperwork is correct before shipping parts Arrange for pick-up with appropriate freight companies. Verify that the computer system is correct and updated for all daily shipments including boxes, addresses, tracking numbers & freight companies. Track “firm” shipments and ensure they are shipped on correct days. Maintain and suggest process improvements to expediate job or improve quality. Track and communicate to Lead of any “firm/sooner” shipments and ensure they are shipped on correct days. Verify receiving procedures and policies are followed per Spira's quality manual. Perform all tasks and duties to maintain and support Spira's QMS Quality system. Perform Incoming/Receiving as requested. Identify urgent orders and count incoming materials. Ensure that required certifications are received. Verify that incoming boxes are not damaged. Return to stock from production. Count and package parts for outside processing against job travelers. Update Purchasing Department of any missed vendor pick-ups/deliveries. Trained and certified material handler to operate lifting machinery such as Reach Trucks and Forklifts. Experience with Cycle Counts and RF Scanner. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions. Capable of speaking and communicating well with customers and coworkers in a professional manner. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal. Good physical health is required. Associates will often need to work at a rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
