Compares identifying information and counts, and weighs or measures items to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. - Inspects all incoming shipments or loads assuring no insect or rodent activity and damage free. - Operate lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping platform to storage or work area. - Check to assist plant and elevator operations on a daily basis, time or season permitting. - Maintains a clean warehouse and storage area following tasks assigned in Master Sanitation schedule. - Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
