Job Description: Warehouse Technician This role is 100% Onsite Work schedule is 8AM - 4PM EST **There are now TWO openings for this role** Receive, store and issue the raw materials, packaging components and operational supplies used to support manufacturing operations. Handling samples of materials used to conduct testing or special assignments. Performs shipping and Inventory Cycle Count functions in supporting other warehouse operations and plant needs. Maintains and generates transactions in the SAP environment and handles damaged / shortages / excess / or missing orders following the Materials Damages & Claim Procedure. 3. Removes the samples to be used for analysis of raw materials and packaging components received and the samples used for re-evaluation of the existing materials. 4. Stores materials as per applicable status, according to the current GMP's and keeps working areas clean and organized. 5. Transfer material from warehouse to Production lines and / or receive back-to-stock materials from / to the warehouse following the current procedure. 6. Keeps data in the inventory control systems (manual and /or computerized) update and accurate, including the freight containers inventory. Participates in Cycle Counting process as per Inventory Control Procedure. Prepares physically materials for shipment and ensure that materials are correctly picked for shipping, as per their applicable status and according to the current GMP's and loading of trucks. 7. Handles and disposes properly rejected material, dangerous goods, potentially dangerous goods and regulated hazardous waste into a designated on-site disposal facility of interim container. Essential Responsibilities * Perform transactions to receive material in CAS and IMPACT system * Maintain an accurate inventory record of all OSV parts both incoming / outgoing * Troubleshoot any problems or issues with incoming / outgoing OSV shipments or paperwork * Operate machinery as needed (Forklift, Skin Pack Machine, Crane etc.) * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a working environment that changes daily in order to keep incoming / outgoing materials moving to meet customer and manufacturing requirements * Maintain organization of raw materials (forgings, castings, etc.) * Preserve trace and integrity of all material * Perform basic packaging of customer / vendor parts * Load / unload trucks as needed in a timely manner * Maintain packaging manual to insure it stays updated to match current requirements * Work with carriers to arrange pick up and deliveries * Distribute materials as needed * Provide positive support of all business initiatives * Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment * Able to work from written and verbal instructions require the ability to read, write, and speak English ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : * Fork truck license or willingness to get fork truck license * Ability to lift, transport, move and / or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations Desired Characteristics * Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times * Evaluate quality problems that inhibit the process with an effective solution * Ability to adapt to new methods and / or customer satisfaction * Must display good communication skills, both written and oral * Experienced with computers * Basic skills in Microsoft office package (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Regular shift is Sunday 6:00pm - 2:00am and Monday - Thursday from 7:00 pm to 3:00 AM plus overtime hours when needed to fulfill orders What you will be doing: * Build mixed pallet orders for retail delivery * Load and unload trucks using ride on pallet jack and forklift * Repack damaged products as directed * Maintain grounds * Stock warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation * Load empties on truck for return to supplier * Other duties as assigned What we are looking for: * High School Diploma or GED Required * 1 year experience working in a warehouse required * Flexibility with Schedule - we start at the same time each night but don't leave until the job is done! 1.5x Overtime pay after 40.00 hours worked in a pay period week.
