Cresco Labs is seeking Material Handlers to join our Supply Chain team. The Material Handler will supply other departments with all the materials required to complete their tasks. We are looking for associates with great attention to detail to maintain an accurate inventory non-cannabis materials. Material handlers will need to work closely with other departments to help ship/receive, supplies and equipment related to the facility operation.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Providing departments with all materials needed at the point of use based on work orders/bills of materials provided.
Follow a first in first out (FIFO) flow of inventory to ensure the shelf-life quality of all perishable stock items
Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels to avoid shortages
Assist in the receiving of goods as well as stocking shelves and completing daily supply run for all departments
Operates lift trucks to move equipment/supplies through facility and receive goods from freight carriers
Receive and handoff shipments to freight carriers and small package carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
Communicating shipment issues with department leadership including damaged shipments or any discrepancies with quantities or items during the Receiving process.
Other duties to support the overall operation as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Must have at least 1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production or manufacturing fast-paced environment with measurable goals and working standards.
Forklift experience required.
Must be able to operate and complete power industrial lift truck certification/training requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of organizational skill
Deadline driven and detail oriented
Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all company departments and employees
Must be able to work outside in cold and hot environments.

Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:
Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
Clean totes and other items
Some deep cleaning, as needed
Follow all safety and quality standards
Other basic janitorial duties as assigned
Requirements for our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions:
Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours

What You'll do as a Material Handler I
* Transfers product from unprocessed storage area to processing area, loads, and unloads processed product, conducts pre-shipping preparation and stages product in processed area. Reviews product / process documents and customer provided special instructions to ensure accurate processing.
* Maximizes processing and minimizes downtime by monitoring equipment used for product movement and transfer; conducts and performs minor repairs, referring major malfunctions and / or unsafe conditions to management or Maintenance Department; maintains a clean orderly work area, performs Material Handling, production functions as needed; processes product according to specifications if qualified by training and certification.
* May assist in maintaining product inventory by receiving, identifying, labeling (if appropriate), and storing product within the Shipping and Receiving area in accordance with established procedure and any applicable Customer provided special instructions.
* Contributes to accuracy of processing and product accountability by maintaining product documentation; implements appropriate corrective action as needed; places, retrieves and analyzes product monitoring devices per processing specifications.
* Contributes to safe product processing by researching and responding to any alarm conditions in an appropriate manner; reports events and activities outside normal parameters to Supervisor and/or Team Leader or Operator, and may assist in resolving issues acting within operational and safety guidelines; conducts area housekeeping on a daily basis.
* Participates in Operator training to further develop skills.
* Contributes to a team effort by performing in accordance with all STERIS policies, GMP, Lean principles and other directives; supports the directives and decisions of higher-level management and performs other duties as assigned

Job Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Under the general direction of the Supply Support Manager and Team Lead, assess, replenish and maintain unit supply rooms on a daily basis. Functions as a customer service liaison between individual units and Supply Support. This individual is responsible for demonstrating professionalism while providing quality service to our internal customers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic distribution functions including, but not limited to, unit assessment and replenishment of assigned Nursing Units. Stock and maintain unit supply rooms on a daily basis. Rotate stock and monitor expiration dates on various med/surg products to ensure usage or remove from inventory department prior to expiration date. Identify and resolve any discrepancies, problems or questions related to inventory and distribution process. Report status to Team Lead. Focus on customer service issues such as resolving customer inquiries related to Supply Support and maintaining positive working relationships with individual unit staff members. Collaborate with Nursing Unit staff members on planning, logistics, and supply continuity. Follows hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA and CMS guidelines and procedures for supply stocking and rotation. The material handler may be present in secure medication storage areas and are allowed to handle and distribute medications supplied by the BWH materials management department. Perform other duties as assigned.
