Material Receiving: Verify incoming shipments of raw materials and packaging supplies, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy. Label all incoming materials using NetSuite.
Sample Shipments: Prepare customer samples for shipment using UPS or FedEx online shipping tools per customer request.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems, generating reports on inventory levels.

This person would also be responsible for inspecting and receiving items, maintaining supply inventories, and maintaining the equipment and work area in a clean, organized manner. This team member will need to work well with the other shipping team members and organize the workload so that tasks are completed in a timely manner. This position works a 1st shift 4am to 4pm on a 2-2-3 schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for outgoing loads and following loading procedures. Ensures outgoing load documentation or accuracy.
Performs trailer inspection for food safety issues or sources of contamination and reports deficiencies to their supervisor.
Receives and inspects incoming supplies and ingredients. Labels ingredients with received date and transfers materials to their proper storage location.
Maintains shipping and receiving logs. Communicates any discrepancies with Production Supervisor or Cheese Manufacturing Manager.
Performs daily motorized pallet truck inspections.
Performs daily shipping cooler temperature checks and inspections.
Fills and maintains foot baths throughout the plant.
Monitors inventory of pallets, pouches, and other packaging supplies to ensure sufficient inventory levels. Submits purchase requisitions to the Production Supervisor.
Coordinates movement of materials and supplies between other facilities.
Follows aseptic sampling procedures for plugging blocks. Re-seals and palletizes sample blocks.
Responsible for daily sanitation and housekeeping of dry storage areas, coolers, and motorized pallet trucks in accordance with the master sanitation schedule.
Provides break relief for Packaging Operators and supports operations in this department.
Trains others in the essential duties and responsibilities within this department.
Complies with all company Safety, HACCP, and GMP policies
Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to management or other individuals authorized to initiate action
