pstrong ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul li Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from local delivery and inter-franchise drivers, new container inventory, repositioning and customer access; load trucks for first route amp; stage IF and access/li li Follow AM SOP by printing routes amp; pulling ancillary when assigned/li li Assist Market Manager with routing/li li Insure that all full containers staged outside during the day are returned to the warehouse each night/li li Maintain PODHUNTER/li li Fuel forklift, complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain those records onsite; notify manager of needed repairs/li li Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out, for assigned facility/li li Print and time-stamp all waybills; may scan and upload contracts, addendums and other documents/li li When required, repair damaged containers/li li Maintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routes/li li May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned/li /ul p /p pstrong JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education amp; Experience Requirements/strong/p ul li High School diploma or equivalent/li li4-6 years storage center experience preferred/li li Previous forklift experience required/li li Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification/li li Possess basic computer skills i.e. data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office/li li Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties/li li Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience/li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrong PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/p ul li Ability to frequently remain in stationary position for operating forklift/li li Ability to frequently ascend/descend cab of forklift using three points of contact/li li Ability to occasionally move boxes weighting up to 50 lbs/li li Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus; strong sense of spatial relations and negotiate tight spaces./li li Ability to frequently write, use computer, operate forklift, use handheld device and manipulate documents/li li Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with manager, co-workers and customers/li /ul pMay be required to work some Saturdays/p
