We are looking for a Material Handler I that not only wants to have a job but to have a long term career. Pay is $21.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is responsible for assisting manually moving and maintaining fencing materials/products in the storage yard and assisting in the distribution of these materials. Successful candidates will have demonstrated reliability, integrity, and an excellent work ethic.
Overview of duties:
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
Pull products or materials needed for fence crews, transport trucks, or customers.
Load crew trucks, transport trucks, or customer vehicles and install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Receive incoming product and material from truck deliveries, inspect delivery for damage and accuracy, unload truck with forklift and safely transport to appropriate storage.
Stack product or materials on pallets and transport to designated areas.
Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.
Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
Keep yard clean, free from hazards, and organized.
Contact vendor for emptying trash bins on site.
Experience required:
6 plus months of experience in material handling
6 plus months of experience in working in warehouse/lumber yard/hardware
Must be at least 21
Experience with forklifts required
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no DUI/DWI). We conduct a thorough background check and drug screen.

Scope of Position:
Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities include:
Reads Finished Product Load Tag, Shipper, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Responsibilities: Duties
Material Handler:
Locates material and pulls orders using established RF/warehouse procedures to fulfill orders;
Responsible for unloading product (using both a forklift and hand loading) and putting away product accurately to designated areas within the warehouse;
Checks in any incoming product using established RF/warehouse procedures for receiving, ensuring deliveries match the company purchase order;

Inspects and secures all loads on truck;

Taking pictures of deliveries made using Innovo phone app.

Qualifications
Skills: Technical Qualifications/Experience
A minimum of one year experience in a similar position is preferred;
Experience with RF devices is a plus;
