4. Stores materials as per applicable status, according to the current GMP's and keeps working areas clean and organized.
5. Transfer material from warehouse to Production lines and / or receive back-to-stock materials from / to the warehouse following the current procedure.
6. Keeps data in the inventory control systems (manual and /or computerized) update and accurate, including the freight containers inventory. Participates in Cycle Counting process as per Inventory Control Procedure. Prepares physically materials for shipment and ensure that materials are correctly picked for shipping, as per their applicable status and according to the current GMP's and loading of trucks.
7. Operates and maintains the warehouse equipment (Radios, Forklift, etc).
8. Handles and disposes properly rejected material, dangerous goods, potentially dangerous goods and regulated hazardous waste into a designated on-site disposal facility of interim container.

HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions. Working Conditions are in a warehouse operations environment with considerable physical exertion. Will perform duties in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of building material products and engineered wood products a plus. Ability to understand and measure lengths of material required. General warehouse experience, including industrial forklift operation, and/or knowledge of warehouse work environment preferred.

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Material Handler is primarily responsible for material handling throughout the manufacturing areas, performing chemical changeovers, and handling of hazardous waste chemicals, ensuring continuous flow of materials and chemicals between stations. This role also involves printing and releasing work orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all stations have the required materials for efficient production during shifts. Safety, accuracy, and timely transportation of materials are critical aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely handle, change, and remove hazardous waste chemicals in accordance with company protocols and environmental regulations.
* Execute chemical changeovers with attention to detail, ensuring the correct chemicals are in place and ready for use.
* Print and release work orders to maintain production flow and efficiency.
* Transport materials between stations to ensure smooth production processes and prevent downtime.
* Monitor and ensure all workstations have sufficient materials and consumables throughout the shift.
* Communicate material shortages or delays to relevant departments in a timely manner.
* Record material movements and chemical changes accurately in both physical records and electronic systems.
* Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurate.
* Perform inspections on material handling equipment, completing pre-use checks and reporting maintenance issues as needed.
* Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all company policies and regulations, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling guidelines.
* Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as required.
* Provide support for shipping, receiving, and production teams as necessary.
* Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts and suggest ways to optimize material handling processes.
* Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
Must Have:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Minimum of 1 year of materials coordinator duties in manufacturing, or material handling experience.
* Strong command of the English language (speak, read & write) with good communication skills.
* Experience with computers and computer software programs.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and other systems (i.e. FedEx/IUPS application)
* Organizational and time management skills.
Salary Range:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
