Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accepts and unpacks incoming shipments and checks against company standard.
Compares receiving documents against the add tapes included with shipment and check for accuracy by counting hides.
Follows the lead of the Receiving Inspector to ensure that quality procedures are met and documented.
In cases where items are mixed within the package/horse, separates stock into individual packages/horses.
Labels each package/horse and determines bin location for storage.
Place items in bins using a standup and sit-down forklift.
Process receipt of goods on ERP system with accuracy.
Maintain a neat and orderly workspace.
Serve as backup to DC lead when needed.
Assist in ACC fulfillment area as needed.
Commute to Forest location to fill in as needed.
Drive and operate a 26ft box truck to deliver leather to various warehouses.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assist in maintaining efficient storage of materials, rearrange or change of bins and racks, and make material location changes.

Work Experience requirement listed below: A minimum of one year work experience in inventory control and management, material handling, warehousing, or related experience is required. Must be able to safely lift up to 70 pounds; successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required. Must possess the appropriate State drive license. If a Commercial Drive License (CDL) is required, the incumbent must obtain the CDL within six months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification. Operate and load the Hogger with plant's scrap corrugated sheets. This is done by hand and by broom. (The Hogger is a machine in which scraps of large and small pieces of corrugated board are pulled into ripper wheels and shredded into small pieces).
Operate and inspect the Cyclone that sits on the roof of the plant. To get to the Cyclone, operator must be able to climb a 20' ladder.
Operate the Baler.
Refile Bale Wire as needed. Bale wire weights 100 lbs and is reloaded every 1-2 weeks.
Daily and end of week cleanup.
Operate forklift.
Individual must possess the following basic skill set:
Must be mechanically inclined.

The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, and physically move and lift product weighing as much as 150 pounds.
