General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking a Shipping Material Handler at our Factory in Everett, WA. The core mission of the Shipping Material Handler is to facilitate the efficient and accurate shipping of finished product. The Shipping Material Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand the manufacturing workflow. Employee will be hands on in the preparation, packaging and load out of completed product.

This seamless complex offers a NHL regulation ice rink open year-round, diverse arena space that can be used for WHL hockey, basketball, indoor football, trade shows, concerts and more; as well as a full conference center that can host conventions, meetings, weddings, banquets, and more.
Responsibilities
* Provide optimal ice conditions for all ice events.
* Responsible for occasional maintenance and repair of rink equipment to include, but not limited to: Zamboni, dasher system, subfloor, tempered glass, acrylic glass, safety netting, Jet Ice systems, edgers, goal nets, etc.
* Proper documentation of maintenance and ice measurements.
* Assist with ice installation and removal.
* Assist Operations department to expedite event conversions.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as an operator for Zamboni Ice Resurfacing preferred
* Experience with heavy machines ins a plus
* Solid understanding of OSHA rules and regulations
* Must be comfortable working in very cold or for long periods of time
* Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time
* Must be able to climb stairs/ladder
* Ability to adhere to building policies and event requirements
* Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions as well as communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form
* Must be able to work irregular hours to include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking a Shipping Material Handler at our Factory in Everett, WA. The core mission of the Shipping Material Handler is to facilitate the efficient and accurate shipping of finished product. The Shipping Material Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand the manufacturing workflow. Employee will be hands on in the preparation, packaging and load out of completed product.

Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 70 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment. The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Compensation
$22.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
