Material Handler / 3rd Shift
Material Handler Job In Cleveland, TN
Danfoss has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Material Handler at our Cleveland, Tennessee location. Material Handlers are responsible for the movement (receive, stock, pick, package, and ship) of products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to fill customer orders. All Material Handlers flex to different areas within the warehouse as business need requires.
This is a 3rd Shift Position.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Receive, stock, pull, package, label, palletize, weigh and ship products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to pull/fill orders for shipments to customers accurately and on time
+ Operate and read hand-held RF Unit to ascertain part number, quantity, and location of products
+ Determine products and location in order to count and pull the correct amount of product to accurately fill orders
+ Quickly read and understand shop orders and ascertain part numbers and quantities needed per each package
+ Accurately package and label each carton/package
+ Unload trucks replenish shelves and load trucks either manually or using mechanized material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and runners
+ Count and bag parts per quantity specified on order and label bags with part number and quantity
+ Retrieve/pull product from bins or shelves either manually or using various types of mechanized material handling equipment
+ Complete verbal requisition of products from overstock for replenishing active inventory when necessary
+ Perform minimal preventive maintenance activities
**Background & Skills**
Required (Basic) Qualifications
+ High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
+ One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment for warehouse facility
+ Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be local-no relocation offered
Job Criteria
+ Repetitive bending and lifting up to 40 pounds
+ Stand-up forklift experience
