Job Summary:
As an Emergency Department Social Worker at Mason General Hospital, you will provide essential psychosocial support to patients and their families in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient and Family Support:
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify patient and family needs.

Resource Coordination:
Connect patients and families with community resources, support groups, and other social services.

Assess and assist with Social Determants of Health needs of the patient.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of social work experience. Healthcare or Emergency setting preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital or clinic coding.
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist position offers an outstanding opportunity to join our quality Rehab team of dedicated professional. Outpatient duties require the therapist to treat ages birth to 21+ for developmental, cognitive, self-care, handwriting, sensory, motor, behavior, feeding or social emotional needs. The caseload is primarily ages 2-11 years of age. The therapist will evaluate and treat the child in an hour-long session while completing caregiver education and providing materials to assist the family in completing carry over in the home. The pediatric team completes interventions through a play-based approach. The therapist will collaborate with other pediatric team members to best serve the family and their needs. Pediatric patients are on the therapists' caseload for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months; but is up to therapist discretion for specific cases.
Inpatient duties require therapists to assess and treat patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems and situations. The desired candidate will have knowledge and understanding of assistive equipment and experience in recommending a safe discharge plan and follow-up therapy services. The candidate will have the ability to collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge.

Job Summary:
Perform, evaluate and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice, performing work in accordance with physician orders. Defined duties are within the infant, pediatric and adult patient populations in general, intensive, emergency, birth center and outpatient care areas.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
Performs EKGs, PFTs, Holter and Event monitors, processes report interpretations, sends reports to physicians who requested them, and files reports in department, according to department procedures.
Deliver oxygen and medications as prescribed and understanding the purpose of each and the possible side effects.
Monitor patient's physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood oximetry changes, and consult with physician if adverse reactions occur.
Provide emergency care, including artificial ventilation and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all pertinent data on the patient's medical record following completion of any service.
Performs all aspects of patient care in a manner that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors; documents according to established standards; communicates effectively.
Develops and maintains professional and clinical skills.
Completes all annual competency and education requirements within established parameters and timeframes.
Participates in staff meetings, patient care meetings, educational in-services and other professional activities.

Inspect, clean, test and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently, ordering repairs when necessary.

How much will this job pay?
Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity.
