A small, high-growth Bay Area medical device company is adding a strategic marketing role to their team. Their novel products treat seizure disorders by reducing the patient's abnormal brain activity. The product features an implantable device and ongoing patient monitoring and personalized treatment. They've successfully launched and driven adoption for their first product, experienced 40%+ YOY growth last year and have a healthy balance sheet. They have multiple new indications and a major product launch coming up in the next few years for a market with many unmet needs. They're growing the commercial marketing team in preparation for these launches and adding a newly created Sr. Marketing Manager role. This is a small team, where you'll interact with leadership daily and work broadly, no two days will be the same. The Opportunity: In this newly created Sr. Marketing Manager role, you will develop marketing strategies and programs to drive adoption for a strong existing portfolio and upcoming new indications and product launches. There's new clinical data for the existing portfolio, a major launch pending and a significant indication expansion to come. You'll focus on both continuing to drive adoption for the current products and set product launch strategy and tactics. You'll develop branding, positioning and messaging as well as creating collateral materials. You'll develop KOLs and educate customers and the sales team on the portfolio's benefits and features. You will also gather commercial data and competitive intelligence for the segment. Strong presentation skills and executive presence are a must for this position, you will be routinely presenting to executive leadership. The team is small and there's much to define. You will partner closely with leadership as you consider how to best support the rapidly growing commercial footprint.
