This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the human resource office as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. This position will also partner with the other site HR Managers for employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
Job Responsibilities
Assists managers in support of our HR strategy relative to people, systems, tools and processes.
Partners with the Plant Manager, site Safety Manger, and corporate resources, supports the proper administration of: safety programs, workers compensation, medical program, OSHA and other regulatory compliance, plant security function, EEOC, and other employment related regulatory programs.
Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs.
Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
Conducts accident/employee investigations to determine cause and discusses proactive solutions with supervisors/managers to prevent recurrence.
Responds to claims for unemployment insurance, including preparation of supporting documentation and managing the appeals process.
Manages the separation process, including collection of final documents, exit interviews, and sending required documents/final paycheck to the supervisor or departed employee.
Completes all required internal notifications regarding separations.
Coordinates training and/or roll-out of new Company procedures/policies.
Manage HR Assistant, Receptionist and Office Assistant
Assist with other jobs and duties as necessary.
Qualifications for Human Resource Generalist
Associate's Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources/Business, Bachelor of Science preferred
3-5 years of relatable experience in Human Resources manufacturing or related field
PHR, SHRM-CP preferred
Ability to lead a diverse team of support and professional staff
Experience in employee relations
Knowledge/experience managing employment laws/legal compliance
Strong attention to detail with effective critical thinking skills

shift. Supervisor will be a Hands-On working Supervisor with their own hand tools. Candidate will ensure full utilization of all maintenance information systems (CMMS) and will be responsible for the accuracy, management and direction in controlling parts inventory storerooms. This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is hands on working Supervisor.
Supervise and develop the 2
nd
shift Maintenance Team with direction from Maintenance Manager.
Execute all maintenance activities with special attention to regulatory requirements that may apply, e.g., OSHA rules, EPA regulations, USDA requirements, state and local environmental regulations. Ensure all safety requirements are clearly defined in all maintenance planning.
Direct and maintain planned and predictive maintenance procedures and as required. Help to analyze historical data in order to take action to mitigate re occurring issues.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Refrigeration Technician will provide leadership and coordinate all efforts for the plant systems pertaining to Ammonia, Steam, Air, Water and HVAC. The refrigeration mechanic will establish, organize, plan, and implement maintenance programs that will improve the operating efficiencies for the plant quickly and safely. He will support the maintenance strategy for Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Operator Asset Care, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance Avoidance and PSM. This will also include the development and implementation of necessary technical training/certification needs, and the provision of any technical services needed to support the Plant. The Refrigeration Mechanic will support and coordinate all efforts with outside contractors including justification, design, some project implementation, and startups, also includes the direction of outside contractors and their maintenance contracts
Essential Functions
* Monitors and evaluates equipment logs and reports for steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air and HVAC systems. Looks to correct chronic or repetitive problems by evaluating the log or reports
* Engaged in the operation and maintenance of the powerhouse equipment
* Maintains records of all equipment and recommends improvements to inventory and preventive maintenance systems based on this information
* Coordinates efforts with outside contractors to successfully execute maintenance contracts
* Procures material's necessary for the maintenance of equipment in his area of responsibility
* Ensure new equipment meets requirements of OSHA, sanitation, quality, maintenance, and production.
* Plans all work for power house equipment
* Oversees and approves all repairs
* Maintains fire and ammonia leak vigilance
* Handles all matters pertaining to the powerhouse in a safe manner
* Participates in the PSM Program
* Keeps Plant Engineering manager, Maintenance Mgr., Manufacturing Mgr. and Safety Mgr. advised of operating conditions and problems on a timely manner
* Procurement of Energy
* Maintain Compliance of Federal, State and Local EPA regulations
* Provide a safe and reliable, efficient operation
* Promotes Safe working habits
* Responsible for interacting with all plant depts.
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in Ammonia Refrigeration or related field.
* Background that includes, but not limited to boilers, air compressor equipment, understanding of plant utilities systems, equipment installation and startups
* Experience working with vendors and contractors.
Desired Qualifications
* Previous experience in the food industry and knowledge of GMP's and SQF audits would be valuable

POSITION SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Utility Driver is responsible for transporting feed to various locations throughout the complex. Other responsibilities include backing up feed mill labor positions as well as other CDL driving positions throughout the complex in a safe and efficient manner. This will include operating a forklift, skid steer, and other power industrial trucks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
* Drives feed delivery with semi tractor to deliver feed to grower barns in an economical fashion averaging approximately 165 miles per day.
* Conducts pre-trip inspections in accordance to divisional guidelines and DOT requirements.
* Load truck in a manner that ensures the quality and integrity of the feed.
* Obtains representative's sample of feed delivered to each grower.
* Unloads feed into proper bin(s) at grower location ensuring integrity is maintained.
* Communicates written and verbally with associates, maintenance (and growers as necessary) relevant information such as tank levels, conditions, etc.
* Operates and maintains equipment in a safe manner and keeps truck and work areas neat, clean, and orderly.
* Picks up loads of feed from grower barns that is left over at the end of the flock as directed.
* Follows housekeeping schedule for the Feed Mill being responsible for keeping assigned areas clean. Uses blow down techniques using required PPE.
* Is On Call for emergency feed deliveries to cover feed outages to growers which requires carrying a pager approximately 8 times per year during the weekends and Holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Truck Mechanic II is responsible for repairing, constructing, servicing, and modifying all live haul vehicles under general supervision of the Lead Maintenance Mechanic or the Live Haul Manager. This position will perform equipment inspections both in the shop and in the field to ensure good working condition. Additionally, this position may occasionally drive semi (if applicant holds a Class A CDL). DOT certified and performs DOT certification/Vehicle Inspections to ensure compliance with CSA 2010. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs daily and routine maintenance of equipment, notifying supervisor of operating problems or major repairs needed. Looks for equipment problems adjusts, and repairs equipment as needed. Ensures that equipment issues are thoroughly documented for shop repair. Identifies opportunities to modify equipment or work procedures to reduce cost or labor.
Daily inspection of equipment (forklift, track cart, tractor and trailer, packer, or catcher) as well as completion of vehicle condition reports. Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs work using tools and equipment safety and proficiently. Maintains a neat and orderly shop. Is on time for work, keeps trucks clean and ensures that the truck and packers are stocked with supplies.
Maintains accurate record of work completed including parts used and time spent in repairs or modifications. Welds mods and equipment to meet departmental and business needs.
Supports live haul operation by occasionally transporting the packer, catcher, forklift and track or mod and drawer trailer from processing to grower locations and back. Unloads and sets up packer or catcher and operates either the catcher or the packer. Drives in designated area of the growers' property.
