Assist operators as necessary
Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets
Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means
Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing
Pack products in crates or boxes by hand
Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units
Mark or put identifying labels on product loads
Construct or de-construct shipping boxes
Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area
Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
Able to effectively work in a team environment
Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Labour Job In Geneva, AL
We are hiring for immediate openings fas General Laborers at a local manufacturer in Geneva, AL. Pay will range between $12.00 - $14.00 per hour and they have both 1st shift M-F 5am - 3:30pm and 2nd shift M-F 2:30pm - 1am available. Responsibilities: Perform various manual labor tasks as assigned
Operate forklift to move materials and equipment
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
Assist with loading and unloading materials
Skills:
Proficient in operating a forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.
Experience using a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Familiarity with power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, etc.
Skill in assembling parts or components according to specifications.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
