Conceives and leads the development of New Model Stamping Tooling specifications/process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO. Provide direct technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers to ensure successful design and production deliverables are met. Monitors Design Change through drawing maturation. Completes checks for manufacturing stamping new model equipment verification check list and drawing maturation requirements. Supports or leads complex manufacturing category problem analysis, determine root causes, recommend corrective action, and consults on SAP (Specific Action Plan) in the New Model development. Support business plan improvement activity and assist in milestone achievement. Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
