With campuses in New York, Los Angeles and Slovenia, the Make-Up Designory is making the world a little more beautiful, one graduate at a time. The academic curriculum at MUD is always in line with the current trends as the school is constantly updating its curricula to ensure students are learning the latest techniques. The classes are a blend of lectures, demonstrations, lab work and assignments, so students will learn each step, from research and casting to professional photo shoots. The application process for MUD is a little different, as prospective students are asked to simply apply through a form on the school's website. There is a non-refundable $100 registration fee due when the form is submitted. Students are asked to demonstrate proof of a high school diploma or equivalent by either faxing or mailing a copy of their documentation to the school. Students without a diploma or proper documentation may be asked to complete a skills test before being admitted. This school offers programs in Fashion Make-up Artistry, Film and Television Artistry, Multimedia Make-up and Master Make-up Artistry. Before students can enroll in a program, they are required to complete a formal interview with an Admissions Advisory, in addition to in-person meetings with faculty and staff in order to determine if students are a good fit for the school. MUD offers financial aid through tuition payment programs, but does not offer scholarships. The financial aid department will help students in finding the right financial assistance for them.
