Field Operations • Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical issues, providing effective solutions. • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute tasks correctly. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Training and Mentorship • Train and guide apprentices and team members in proper electrical techniques and safety protocols. • Provide hands-on instruction to develop skills in wiring, mounting, and termination. • Offer constructive feedback to help team members grow in their roles and improve their performance. Project Execution • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time. • Provide regular updates on job progress, challenges, and completion timelines. • Conduct thorough testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety. Compliance and Licensing • Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations. • Maintain a valid E-2 License, staying updated with any industry or regulatory changes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Valid E-2 Electrician License with proven field experience. • 3-5 years of experience as a licensed technician. • Proficiency in working with both line voltage and low voltage electrical systems. • Expertise in mounting, wiring, and terminating electrical components. • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to train and guide others. • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and various job site conditions.
