The Industrial Maintenance Technician (Utilities Maintenance) plays a critical role within the Maintenance Team and supports a wide range of crucial systems and equipment.
This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with air compressors, vacuum pumps, fire suppression systems, pumps, and cooling towers.
Complete projects outside the boiler room such as preventative and predictive maintenance techniques and equipment rebuilds/repairs.
Ensure continuous operations of steam boilers.
Perform water quality testing for boiler and infeed water.
Operate and troubleshoot utility, mechanical, and electrical systems with minimal production downtime and callbacks on equipment.
Complete additional boiler-related tasks as assigned including pipe fitting.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
MUST BE OPEN TO ANY SHIFT.
Requirements
1+ years' experience with industrial maintenance, high pressure boilers, or pipe fitting in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
The approximate hourly pay range for this position is $38.02 - $52.69. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician D $38.02, Maintenance Technician C $39.38 ($42.42 for weekend nights), Maintenance Technician B $41.30 ($44.48 for weekend nights), Maintenance Technician A $44.78 ($48.23 for weekend nights), Maintenance Technician A+ $48.92 ($52.69 for weekend nights). Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.

Assists engineers or engineering technicians in the building of various production equipment such as laser tables, printers, collators, stackers and fabricators. Makes operational recommendations to engineers on functional design changes or adaptations to be made to production equipment
Writes/re-writes/revise PMs for any piece of equipment in BU.
Complete at least one PM as an individual or team member for every classification of equipment in BU.

Keeps shop area clean and organizes repair parts as part of inventory

Aggregate Maintenance Technician Swing Shift is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.
Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required Education: High School diploma/equivalent
Required Work Experience: Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments.
Additional Requirements: Must have basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance to include: stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).

Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V).
Service and repair of production related electrical equipment including knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems, AC/DC motors and transformers, machine and line control devices, fluid control and distribution, electronic controls and instrumentation, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC knowledge/ interpretation capabilities.
Ability to demonstrate safe practices and tools for while working with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and components.
Operate & maintain shop tools and equipment, such as pipe threader and band saw.
Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting.
