Maintain a comprehensive database of machines. The database should contain manufacturer, model, and serial number, installation date, specifications, maintenance history, and ongoing requirements. Record maintenance, repairs, and parts replacements.
Inventory Management: Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repairs. Establish inventory control procedures to track usage, replenishment, and stock levels.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Follow all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for product assembly, handling hazardous materials, and waste disposal.
Budgeting and cost control: Develop and manage the Maintenance Department budget. Monitor and control maintenance expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resources to achieve cost-effective operations.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, quality, and productivity of the lamination operations. Contribute ideas and suggestions for streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving overall product assembly.
Requirements:

Perform major installation, repair and maintenance (mechanical, electrical, etc.) on all equipment in the facility. Also responsible for facility maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform major installation, repair and maintenance (mechanical, electrical, etc.) following verbal and written instructions, reference materials and standard procedures adhering to company, local and state standards.
Ensure that all equipment is repaired and maintained to ensure the highest safety standards.
Provide general maintenance department assistance. Be a team player.
Detect and report faulty operations, materials and working conditions to supervisor.
Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain work areas, equipment and tools in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure repair areas have been cleaned of all waste and tooling before returning equipment back to the operator.
Perform other duties and cross-train as required or assigned.
Utilize and promote 5S tools and practices to sustain a high standard of cleanliness and safety both in the shop and throughout the facility
Adhere to the company s health and safety guidelines and policies inclusive of using all PPE as mandated
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires technical school training and/or comparable experience in electrical field, knowledge of PLCs.
Must have experience working with and troubleshooting low voltage AC, DC Systems. 120, 277, 480 3-Phase Systems.
Requires the ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment.
Must be able to read and understand Schematic and drawings.
Knowledge of company procedures for storage, handling and shipment of hazardous waste to comply with government regulations. Training will be included upon assignment to such duties.
Basic welding skills.
General working knowledge of all aspects of industrial maintenance. Good mechanical and construction aptitude.
Employee must be able to work at heights.
Possess a valid driver s license with clean driving record
Willingness to work any shift as needed to meet maintenance and project needs
Willingness to work mandatory overtime due to inclement weather and clean up.
Will need to provide own tools.

This is skilled electrician work at the full performance level in one of the City's water or wastewater processing plants, water pumping stations, a Public Property facility or at the Airport.
