Successful candidates for this position should have at least three years experience programming, operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills, and three years manual machining experience, or equivalent. Responsibilities
This position is a part of a manufacturing process design team and will have direct input on the design of manufacturing processes and procedures. The team member will design and create machined components and assemblies used for work holding, inspection, and processing of mass produced machined products. GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist the Production Department to produce efficiently by keeping tooling and equipment in good working order. Provide direction to Tool & Die Makers to ensure timely repair and Preventative Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Work from tool room schedule to ensure that production tooling and equipment is ready to meet customer requirements.
B. Troubleshoot tooling problems at presses.
C. Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production.
D. Work on production equipment when necessary to maintain production.
