Plan, design, conduct or repair a wide variety of highly intricate and complicated tools, gauges, dies, jigs and fixtures to extremely close tolerances. Experienced with selecting allowances and device mechanism details. Perform difficult development work and construct tools where no design is available. Perform highly skilled fitting adjusting and timing of tools and machinery. Perform work involving multi-station progressive dies, intricate compound dies of irregular shape, sub-press dies for parts of delicate outline and complex, index milling fixtures. Perform any tool room machine operation including CAD/KEY, CNC lathe and other technologies required for tool room operations. Able to work from complicated drawings and sketches. Used advanced shop mathematics and various types of precision measuring instruments. Apply a high degree of experience, trade skill and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice. What's Needed?
