CNC Grinder -1st and 2nd shift available. Looking for an experienced setup/operator on CNC grinding machines. Will be working on CNC cutting grinders (Studer Grinding Machine) and abrasive Wheel Grinders. Each machine has a computer attached to it. We are looking for a machine Operator at our OH plant that opens June 2025. Hired candidate will be eligible for $5000 sign on bonus. 50% given after start date and 50% given after 6 months are completed. *The machine Operator is Responsible for prepping machines for shift start up and/or product change. *Operating auxiliary equipment in order to produce various types and sizes of manufactured products while ensuring quality and production goals are met. *Performing troubleshooting on equipment as needed. Tool and Die Maker The Tool and Die Maker should ideally hold a State Approved Journeyman's card, and have verifiable experience with a range of normal machine tools. These would include: Knee and bed milling machines, engine lathe, surface and OD grinders, drill grinder, and also MIG and TIG welding. Tool and Die Maker The Tool and Die Maker should ideally hold a State Approved Journeyman's card, and have verifiable experience with a range of normal machine tools. These would include: Knee and bed milling machines, engine lathe, surface and OD grinders, drill grinder, and also MIG and TIG welding. The candidate would also have knowledge on the use of typical precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, height and bore gauges. Candidates should also be highly proficient in reading engineered tooling and part drawings, and also have a working knowledge of Inventor. Candidates should have good communication skills, as they would be dealing with a wide variety of people, including hourly and salary associates, as well as some interaction with Executive Management. The candidate should have some basic computer knowledge, and also be able to understand digital timekeeping for payroll and job record keeping. They should understand industrial safety requirements, and also have skills in 5S, troubleshooting, and independent thinking and problem solving. They should also be self-motivated. The candidate would also participate in Department/Shift/Team meetings. Job Description Enginetics ETG is searching for a hard-working, motivated and dedicated Manual Machinist who is proficient in the programming, setup and operation of vertical milling machines. This is an immediate opening for a multi-talented, top notch Manual Machinist with excellent communication skills to work in our Huber Heights, Ohio facility. This position is on 2nd shift. Shift hours are as follows; 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:40pm to 11:10pm Qualifications Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the following areas; Set up and fabricate complex precision parts to specifications using manual machine tools such as Bridgeport, Lathe, Surface grinders, drill press, boring bars, etc Ability to set-up and run their own job. Monitor the machining process, measure parts during fabrication operations and adjust settings and operations to ensure product conformance to all applicable specifications. Proficient with the use of measurement instruments: micrometers, dial indicators, calipers etc. Experience and ability to understand and interpret specifications, diagrams and plans Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-sufficient with a “make it happen” attitude & approach. Understanding of G-Code programming a plus. Experience in part inspection, First Piece inspection. Experience with Anilam, Prototrak or similar controls Ability to perform programming using Conversational Prototrak Controls Job shop environment a plus.
