Key Responsibilities:
Operate all sizes of engine lathes, mill machines, and large horizontal and vertical mills
Read and accurately interpret engineered drawings and blueprints
Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers to tolerances of .0001"
Hold overall part tolerances within .001"
Maintain a zero-incident safety record and adhere to all safety protocols
Work overtime as required to meet customer deadlines
Occasionally travel for short-term field assignments as needed
Qualifications:
Proven manual machining experience in a job shop or industrial repair setting
Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and manufacturing instructions
Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to extremely tight tolerances
Strong knowledge of lathe and mill operation, including horizontal and vertical mills
