They may also use raw materials, welding tools, flame spraying, or electrical test equipment to manufacture, alter or test components as part of the process. During the babbitting process they move the part to our custom foundry where they apply new babbitt using various casting techniques. Once the babbitt is cast, their skill at precision machining and metalworking outputs a finished bearing crafted to precise dimensions. Using non-destructive testing techniques and measurement tools they verify the quality and dimensions of their work before preparing the bearing to ship to the customer.
