Job Summary:
A skilled professional responsible for operating concrete curb machines and ensuring high-quality concrete finishing. This role involves machine maintenance, form setup, concrete pouring, and finishing various surfaces such as curbs, sidewalks, roads, and ramps. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a concrete curb machine efficiently.
Mix, pour, and finish concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Machine Operator, you will operate machinery and computer software to produce products and quality check product according to specifications. The two (2) types of operators "Core Machine Operator" support the Rewinder Operators and Converting Production Supervisor by operating core winding equipment to meet the production demand of the plant in a safe way, complying with all company safety policies and ensuring that all cores manufactured meet specification and achieve superior quality and performance standards. The "Robot Operator" perform duties to operate machinery, produce finished product and package for shipping, while complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures and making minor decisions. Here, you will make an impact by:
Work from written order that give information such as to production type, material and how it is palletized.
Perform highly complex operations involving the conversion of product to retail quality and away from home bathroom tissue and household towels.
Set up multiple synchronized steps where settings are adjusted based on paper quality within tolerances and close. To include operating a hoist and pallet jack while loading parent rolls of paper in brackets. Reaching, stretching, pushing and pulling involved.
May operate equipment through computer panel board to perform various tasks which may include roll diameters and lengths, perforation lengths, and lop saw functions.
Perform quality check on product and wrapping at various critical points in the process.
Determine grade of paper, perforation, perforation length, roll diameter, core color, lamination, edge embossing according to production requirements.
May operate package equipment with poly or paper wrap, loaded and set up in accordance with production requirements. Including equipment to pack product in boxes.
Make equipment adjusts to support maximum optimal efficiency.
Communicate information on change of shift. Report product being made, as well as product specifications.
Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Position Summary

Position Responsibilities:
Read and follow written instructions and basic mechanical drawing specifications for equipment operations and changeover requirements.
Performs work by hand and with fixtures and machines, such as drilling, screwing, and bolting necessary to assembly work, disassembles as required. May perform operations such as sizing copper tubing to coil fin.
Monitor meters, gauges, valves, viscosity, temperatures, pressures, related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specification.
Perform machine and quality checks as outlined in the work standards. Immediately report any out of specification product to the Team Leader or Operations Manager.
