Prioritize safety by following all established policies and procedures.

C Shift - 12 Hours 5:00AM - 5:00PM (Friday through Sunday)
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
Operate and maintain machinery to achieve standard rates Perform a variety of inspections
Make adjustments
Conduct preventive maintenance
Perform film changes
Utilize tools to make minor adjustments
Interact with machine interfaces to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments
Learn Pack Manager and navigate the system
Run two baggers simultaneously
Assist mechanics in troubleshooting
Check codes as required
Perform packaging integrity checks
Maintain paperwork
Perform package and flavor changes
Interact with mechanics during machine changeovers
Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
Perform cleaning tasks during the shift, at the end of the shift and at shutdowns
Follow instructions from supervision (regarding policies, procedures and all changes that may occur)
Troubleshoot problems on bagger (VFFS)
Competently work in either a group setting or alone
Ensure product weight specifications are being met
Operate all packing machines at specified efficiency (speed)
Assist in preparing for shift production
Shut off machinery before clearing jams
Ensure equipment lockout procedure is used prior to doing any cleaning or adjustment/repair which requires safety guards to be removed or which may expose employees to injury through inadvertent movement of machine parts
Complete all company required paperwork to document periodic quality checks, to account for product produced, and to provide other records as required by the company
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
