Machine Operator Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Cross train on multiple machines in various departments.
* Inspect in line finished materials and products on line.
* Complete paperwork to ensure quality on product
* Maintain high levels of productivity and quality output on assigned machines
* Follow design specifications to produce quality product
* Troubleshoot machine as needed
* Follow schedule of production and work with lead/supervisor to ensure production demands are met.
