Temp MACON COUNTY Monitor and explain deviation from expected Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Complete any machine and task specific training as documented on Operator Development Plan. Provide suggestions for training topics. Promote and participate in good housekeeping habits to ensure plant appearance exceeds management and customer expectations. Ensure all daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks are performed as outlined in the Master Cleaning Schedule. Maintain accurate production reporting documentation. Responsible for active participation on plant teams and activities including safety, quality, sustainability, community involvement, OEE, maintenance, employee wellness, brainstorming and continuous improvement which are required to create and maintain a World Class environment. Operate Powered Industrial Truck, Boom Lift and Scissor Lift per OSHA regulations rules and guidelines. Responsible for producing and/or packing the best quality product at all times which meet or exceed company expectations and customer quality expectations. Perform scheduled production equipment changeovers as outlined by the plant production schedule. Perform changeovers with limited impact to OEE. Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks as outlined by the plant PM program. Manage preventative maintenance tasks in Computerized Maintenance Management Software, as directed, including generating work orders. Proactive in addressing machine inefficiencies during preventative maintenance. Ensure equipment is clean and in ‘showroom condition' after preventative maintenance is performed on production equipment. Continually evaluate equipment for improvement areas. Tag components or parts that need repair, replacement or improvement. Ensure production equipment is in safe and efficient operation after each changeover. Record parts removed from inventory on appropriate documentation and Computerized Maintenance Management Software to maintain sufficient parts inventory. Notify Maintenance Manager when parts inventory becomes low or reaches a reorder point. Potential Hazards: slips, trips, falls, noise exposure, temperature exposure, forklifts, pinch points, cuts or abrasions, strain from lifting, heat from molding machines, chemical exposure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Accountabilities (listed in order of priority) INSPECTS, LOADS, AND UNLOADS TRUCKS: Ensures traceability standards are met with the appropriate attention to detail (load right product, read the right paperwork, do not mix up product) while effectively and efficiently inspecting, loading, and unloading hopper bottom trucks, with assistance. PULLS CORN FROM BINS: Ensures traceability standards are met by differentiating between varieties with the appropriate attention to detail when pulling corn from the bins, with assistance. PROCESSES FINISHED PRODUCT: Based upon the quality of the product received from farmers, adjusts and operates the equipment on Line 1 to effectively and efficiently process a quality finished product that meets company standards, with assistance. MEASURES BINS: Effectively measures bins and accurately completes paperwork (daily, weekly and monthly) for quality inspection and monitoring purposes, with assistance. CLEANS EQUIPMENT: Cleans inside equipment (i.e. clippers, destoners, gravity tables, color sorter, magnets) autonomously and proficiently with an appropriate attention to detail as well as efficiency, with assistance. COMPLETES QUALITY REPORTS: With assistance, accurately completes, submits and maintains quality reports (checks quality every hour) in a timely manner. Reports any issues to Operator Lead. PERFORMS MAINTENANCE: With assistance from Lead Operator and/or Maintenance Lead, ensures inside equipment (i.e. clippers, destoners, gravity tables, color sorter, magnets) is working properly by partnering with Maintenance Technician to perform acute maintenance in a timely manner when problems occur. SHIFTS: * 1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30pm * 3rd shift hours: Sunday - Wednesday 7:45pm to 6:15am The important stuff: Pay * Offering eligible candidates a $1,000 sign-on bonus for 1st shift and $2,000 sign-on bonus for 3rd shift! * Starting at $17 +/hour and may vary based on previous experience * $1.50/hr shift differential offered for off-shifts * Perfect Attendance Bonus of up to an additional $1,000 a year BENEFITS * Insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, wellness programs, 401K all effective day 1 of employment, plus generous PTO and holidays * Associate appreciation/recognition programs * Scholarship program for children of employees * Other benefits offered are dependent upon plant location, please check with HR for details People who are successful here: * You're accountable * You drive results * You're resilient * You're a great teammate * You're at least 18 Qualifications Qualifications * The ability to read measurements, work, or calculate numbers. * The ability to use handheld tools, including but not limited to handheld pallet jacks, pneumatic staple guns, industrial hot glue guns, and power drills. * Must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and work overtime as needed. * Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred. * Previous experience in assembly or a production-oriented environment preferred. Additionally, selected candidates will be evaluated for several production-related roles based on business needs. All positions are physically demanding in some way; however, some roles require: * The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.; and * The ability to stand or walk up to an entire shift (up to 10-12 hours).
