The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
* Ensures that production standards are met by operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
* Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
* Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
* Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
* Other duties as assigned
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 3:00p to 11:00p Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. $25.26/hr shift differential included.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Salty Packaging Machine Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of packaging machinery while maintaining continuous flow of product to the packaging lines. Responsibilities include making minor adjustments to the machinery to achieve the correct product, troubleshooting, maintenance of machinery, and record keeping.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains shift documentation (i.e., Metal Detector and Batch Order Verifications)
* Reads production schedule and plans accordingly.
* Reads and interprets schedule in MicroStrategy.
* Able to print labels on different printers, choosing correct program for each printer; move eye and clean printers.
* Perform nitrogen testing.
* Efficiently maintains the operation of packaging machinery by monitoring codes, dates, and prices.
* Maintains an adequate supply of roll stock and ensures all packaging materials are available for each machine.
* Set up and write new programs for bag makers.
* Writes and/or edits machine micro logic as needed to maintain an efficient and low waste operation.
* Creating and modifying code dates.
* Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. Sets up and makes minor scale repairs and adjustments.
* Perform span calibration and/or adjustments on scales, adjust scales linkages so it opens and shuts correctly, make minor adjustments to formers.
* Efficiently operates packaging equipment which may include case sealers and robot cells. This includes but is not limited to machine setups, troubleshooting, changeovers, proper running, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, preventative maintenance, and shutdown.
* Properly plans ahead for machine changeovers and efficiently changing from one product item to another.
* Monitors and adjusts each machine to ensure proper cut off film and bags have proper end seals and back seals as required.
* Ensures machines are running at standard speeds.
* Monitors product appearance and adheres to weight control program.
* Performs bag weight checks every 20 minutes and inspects for quality issues.
* Able to run bagger, scales, counting conveyor, seal checker, weight check, case packers, and other auxiliary equipment as needed.
* Identifies and resolves packaged product quality issues.
* Properly accounts for product run off and handles this product; accordingly, sorts through and reworks all good product
* Keeps machines and work areas clean, wipes packaging machines off and blows down area when required to do so.
* Immediately reports any maintenance problems to appropriate technician and/or supervisor.
* Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
* Stores supplies in designated areas.
* Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstruction; removes trash from work area floor.
* Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports issues with equipment; reports all job-related injuries to supervision.
* May provide leadership and direction to packers.
* May be qualified to perform as Back-up Packaging Coordinator, or other technical/skilled position.
* If applicable, may monitor and replenish seasoning on overhead to ensure proper seasoning coverage on product.
* Mandatory overtime may be required.
* May perform other duties as required.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Apply to all regulations that provide safe, reliable, and cost effective operation of the plant to meet processing, permit, and other applicable requirements

A day in the life: What you do
Daily setup, CIP and SIP of a canning line
Daily operation of canning line and supporting equipment (automated depalletizer, laser ink date coder, in-line labeler, conveyors, and can rinse)
Ensure all beverage is in the proper condition (temperature, carbonation level, etc.) prior to canning
Ensure all canning activity is done according to SOPs regarding yield, can fill-height, dissolved oxygen levels, seaming standards, and material loss
Maintain proper canning records and logs
Ensure regular maintenance of canning equipment
Maintain cleanliness of your equipment and surroundings in line with company established GMPs.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 2nd SHIFT (hours 3pm-1:30am)

Job Overview:
WildPack Beverage is hiring a full-time hourly permanent Machine Operator for our Production Team at our brand-new facilities located in LOCATION. At WildPack, we pride ourselves on the company culture we have and the fun and friendly environment that we work in.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage product transfers and filtration from one piece of the production equipment to brite tanks
Perform quality checks both in the mixing vessels and brite tanks to ensure specifications are met as directed by the brand/recipe
Fill and package cans on our canning lines
Run all manufacturing equipment (depalletizer, filler, cartoner, case packer, bundler, and palletizer)
Perform Clean in Place (CIP) procedures on our equipment
Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on canning line equipment
Inspects primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging components, codes, and products to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications
Reports or records production and non-production data on designated forms in a timely, complete, and accurate manner
Ensure packaging is ready for production
Put together boxes/trays for cans to be shipped
Ensure manufacturing orders are completed and properly packaged
Stack pallets of cans to be shipped out
Maintain clean environment
Prioritize safety and quality
Ability to make decisions, problem solve and prioritize assignments
Work in a team environment to ensure all goals are met
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday
10-hour shifts with the opportunity for overtime
Second shift 3:00pm - 1:30am
Your Qualifications:
Strong planning, cleaning and organizational skills
Forklift operation experience would be a plus
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be 21 years of age
Must be able to move and maneuver 100+lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, twist and crouch repeatedly while working in a loud, fast paced environment.

Work Shift:
12hr-A Shift (United States of America) The Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. They are responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks
Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure
Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment
Make adjustments to meet product specifications
Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines
Assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes
Grind excess bottle and material
Troubleshoot and resolve process problems
Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs
Train blow-mold employees
Prepare & document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other
Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
