What You Will Do: Reporting to the shift supervisor, the 2nd Shift CNC Laser Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser equipment in a manufacturing environment to execute cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation processes. Essential Tasks: Adhere to required policies and procedures, both written and verbal. Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Document activity on control charts, travelers, quality logs, etc., and report labor in an ERP system. Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions with equipment and processes. Ask for the assistance of support personnel as needed. Perform any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Inspect and clean laser optics. Follow machine alignment and calibration procedures. Install and uninstall fixtures into machines.     The Machine Repairer is responsible for repairs and maintenance of production equipment. Including, but not limited to, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, and automated lubrication systems. The Machine Repairer works closely with production personnel, maintenance team members, and supervision to address equipment issues. In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be: Conducts routine and preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and systems according to established schedules. Responds promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions per work order priority. Tackles equipment issues and perform vital repairs to minimize production downtime. Performs equipment review and inspections to locate causes of malfunctions. Uses power tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, to repair or fabricate equipment parts. Realigns and adjusts machine components and systems such as spindles and clutches. Completes maintenance-related documentation including updating/closing work orders, submitting required part numbers for ordering replacements. Collaborates with the maintenance team/supervision to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions improve equipment performance and reliability. Uses lifting equipment safely (forklifts, hoists) when performing equipment repairs. Assists in training and maintenance preparation. Follows all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. For this Role, You Will Need: High School diploma or (GED) Journeyperson card in Industrial Maintenance or 10+ years' experience in industrial maintenance preferably with CNC machining equipment and mechanical systems. CNC Machining Equipment fixing and repair Experience working with Mechanical, Welding, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems. Experience working in a CMMS environment. Maintenance Connection preferred. Must have basic computer skills and proficient using computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Must be organized and able to work with little supervision. All other duties as assigned.
