Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Communicates directly with the Service Advisor and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and every 5th Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. Required License/Certification: Valid driver's license Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma Two years' experience as an Automotive Technician or more Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles Preferred Education and Experience Three or more years' experience as an Automotive Technician In order to qualify for hiring bonus must have ASE or similar technical certifications Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 10 hours or more Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Work Environment: This job operates within an automotive dealership service department.
