Basic Qualifications

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as a Depot modifications sheet metal / structures technician for our F-35 program located at Woensdrecht Air Base, Netherlands to support Netherlands National Air Vehicle Depot operations! Organizationally, this position aligns with the Modifications, Upgrades and Overhaul (MUO) Operations Team for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) and will be a direct report day-to-day to the AFS MUO F-35 Depot Execution Senior Manager. The selected candidate will deploy directly from their current location to Woensdrecht, Netherlands.
Selected candidate will have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft. Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes -Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. Candidate will have worked with precision measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and standard scales. Candidate will have extensive and recent experience utilizing tools to include but not limited to drills, angle motors, shears, drill press, and pneumatic riveter.
