What you will do:
The Supervision Specialist will focus primarily on principal review, business oversight and other related tasks including but not limited to:
Report directly to the Supervision Team Manager
Perform principal review and supervision of securities transactions
Provide principal review and supervision of direct business transactions
Provide support and guidance to Financial Representatives and their staff as it relates to the business review and approval process
Communicate and respond to Financial Representatives regarding supervision issues, compliance, industry rules, firm policies and procedures, etc.
Work closely with other team members, departments, home office staff and field personnel to promote the overall objectives of the Firm
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree
FINRA Series 7, Series 24, Series 63 license required. Series 65/66 required within the first 6 months. Series 53/52 required within on year of hire.
2+ years supervisory and/or sales experience within the brokerage industry and securities industry experience
Strong working knowledge of industry products and services (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, UITs, ETFs, REITs, annuities, alternative investments, etc.)
Deep understanding of industry rules governing transactions and suitability
Excellent technology and communication skills
The desire to be an enthusiastic and cooperative team player willing to contribute as necessary to promote the success of the department and the Firm as a whole
Great customer service and communication skills

Compensation:
The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Reporting to the Loan Servicing Lead, in this role, you will perform a variety of functions associated with the origination of new loans and servicing of existing loans ensuring that loan documentation is accurate and in compliance with laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* File appropriate reports which may include title search, title work, flood certificates, surveys or other due diligence information from various sources and prepare reports and/correspondence as appropriate.
* Proactively monitor compliance tracking system to ensure lien is recorded timely this includes insurance and real estate tax monitoring.
* Manage internal/external requests and financial transactions within the term of the loan documentation, bank policies and procedures. Includes draws, payments, wire transfers, payoffs, and collateral releases.
* Resource for Lenders, Loan Administrators, clients, and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies, and resolving issues.
* Perform maintenance on E/O/D, non-accrual, and special mention loan accounts.
* Manage or maintain Loan Participation portfolio, general ledger accounts, flood related compliance audits and logs, Letter of Credit Log and other daily, month or quarterly reports as assigned.
* Monitor payment and correspondence related to real estate taxes and insurance including REO properties, as assigned.
* Manage, monitor and/or report activity related to denied/not approved loans, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5-7 years of Commercial and Consumer loan servicing experience
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation

**About this role:**

**In this role, you will:**
+ Manage and Service Commercial Construction Loans including reviewing related documentation, maintaining budgets, communicating with parties on identified issues, approving transactions and disbursing
+ Participate in less complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements for timely processing of all incoming business lending within Transaction and Processing
+ Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
+ Review site inspections for loans within their portfolio
+ Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements for loan approval documents
+ Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal and external customers if applicable
+ Work with both origination and central analysts in the preparation of loan approval documents
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Commercial real estate experience
+ Residential and commercial appraisal experience
+ Ability to interpret and research loan origination, legal, or real estate documents
+ Exposure to Wells Fargo banking systems such as LIQ, LAM, CCM and C360
+ Knowledge and understanding of builder, construction, or renovations lending
+ Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate operations
+ Knowledge and understanding of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA)
+ Commercial loan documentation, preparation, or review experience
+ Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
+ Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
