The Processor manages a high applicant volume caseload to ensure students' enrollment applications are completed efficiently and accurately for an extensive enrollment evaluation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Performs loan maintenance changes to the core servicing system, in accordance with current maintenance procedures. * Manages financial transactions and reporting process with secondary market loans, including participations, swap loans, syndications, and SBA loans. * Completes research and makes necessary corrections to loans, including payment corrections, rate changes, and interest adjustments. * Reviews and verifies maintenance entered by other users of core system for all loan types * Accepts and processes draws on lines of credit for purchased participation loans * Monitors, completes, and assigns maintenance requests received via the ticketing system * Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information * Remits payments to participant banks and/or the SBA * Reports monthly SBA activity * Disburses funds for all new loans per the terms of the loan * Manages Letters of Credit within the core system. * Reviews documentation for new loan funding and completes appropriate transactions for disbursement. * Reviews participation, swap, syndication, and SBA loan activity, reports appropriately, and remits funds as accurately and timely. * Completes account research and makes appropriate corrections, including payment adjustments. * Completes billing maintenance and creates manual billing notices. * Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy. * Makes recommendations for workflow improvements and ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Performs duties of other Loan Operations personnel as needed. Education & Qualifications * A high school diploma or equivalent. * A minimum of two (2) years related experience required. * Experience in loan servicing, documentation, underwriting, or credit preferred.
