Duties and responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service to all customers.
* Process credit loan applications and use product knowledge to present loan solutions to current and potential customers.
* Maintain office cash with accuracy and proper security.
* Grow account volume through good judgment and effective customer solicitations in the branch and by telephone.
* Minimize delinquent debt through calling customers and collecting on past-due accounts.
* Receive, track, and post all payments and fees to customer accounts in compliance with Company Policy.
* Transport money and deposits to and from bank.
* Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Prior customer service experience in either a sales/retail environment or cash management environment.
* Must pass drug screen, criminal and credit background checks.
* Valid Driver's License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage.

Working conditions
This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. The typical working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis and is at the discretion of upper management.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is responsible for reviewing and preparing commercial loan closing documentation in accordance with loan policy, state, and federal regulations.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
Review and prepare accurate loan closing documentation for commercial loans in accordance with loan policy, state, and federal regulations.
Verify accuracy of loan documentation including, but not limited to entity documentation, legal descriptions, closing dates, signatures required for lien perfection, preliminary title (title policy, title opinion, etc.) to ensure proper endorsements and lien position, insurance coverage, flood requirements, etc
Independently identify the appropriate documentation required to ensure proper lien perfection
Verify appropriate authority provided for loan approval
Prepare monthly reports as defined by management
Maintain current knowledge of legal and compliance issues to ensure that all loans processed adhere to applicable state and federal regulations
Assist in keeping all lenders aware of changes in loan related fees and other relevant information
Provide a high level of customer service through assistance and consultation with internal clients regarding specific transactions and potential issues
Maintain exception tracking on any exceptions approved by management prior to closing. Ensure that any exceptions are approved appropriately
Scan and index documents and daily work
Work with Loan Servicing personnel to resolve loan exceptions
Accept additional duties as assigned
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent years of relative experience
Three years banking experience with two or more years preferably in the loan documentation environment
Good computer, analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is preferred
Laser Pro System knowledge preferred
Possess an ability to work under strict deadlines with shifting priorities
Ability to apply independent thought and logic in order to provide the customer with an accurate loan package
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Ability to apply general rules to
specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted.
Ability to take initiative, support strategic priorities, take ownership of assigned projects, and independently drive for results.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change and meet deadlines.
