Objective
Manage commercial loan closing efforts related to construction loan closings, loan acquisitions, loan portfolio acquisitions and boarding new loans for servicing, take inventory of loan and collateral documentation to ensure timely, complete and accurate collateral perfection and establish a complete credit file for transition to servicing.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and approve closing draws which include construction budgets and invoices to support all development expenditures.
Review and take inventory of loan documents and, as necessary, prepare assignment documents such as allonges, mortgage assignments and UCC assignments.
Investigate county and state recording requirements and deliver all necessary documents for recording. Maintain trackers and perform all necessary follow up on any deficiencies related to the documentation and recording status.
Assist loan acquisition group with pre-purchase review of the loan documents and credit files to identify any deficiencies associated with correctly documenting the loan, terms and collateral perfection.
Coordinate with loan sellers and clients to obtain loan documents, collateral perfection documents, terms, payoffs, payment histories and evidence of existing insurance.
Prepare closing and servicing transfer communication to new borrowers.
Responsible for reviewing and verifying loan terms and status to ensure a timely, accurate and complete new loan boarding. Conduct reviews of new loan boarding efforts to ensure data integrity.
Establish ticklers in servicing system to ensure timely UCC extensions, insurance renewal, property tax payments and covenant compliance.
Establish a complete commercial loan credit file.
Establish tax contracts for new loans secured by real property to ensure timely payment of taxes.
Responsible for tracking insurance to ensure client and AmeriNat are properly named on coverage, verify proper coverage amount and proper provider risk ratings as required by the loan documents and to make note of policy expiration date.
Assist loan administration, as necessary.
Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on critical business matters that can have a significant financial and operational impact on AmeriNat and our clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
5 or more years of related experience with commercial lending, commercial loan closing, loan servicing and/or title company.
Experienced with and knowledgeable of commercial loan documentations.
Must have knowledge and experience preparing and recording loan and collateral perfection documents
Ability to communicate as a professional in writing and verbally to senior management and external clients.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including outlook, word and excel.
Working knowledge of Commercial Loan Servicing System(s) and working knowledge of Nortridge Loan Servicing Software a plus but not required.
Attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Must be able to produce at a high level under limited supervision and meet imposed deadlines in a fast-paced demanding environment.
