D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an MMT-Loan Processor in the Branch Department. The Loan Processor role is to prepare and organize a home buyer's file before sending it for approval. Loan Processors verify employment information and debt-to-income ratio. They look for any red flags in a loan application and try to resolve any problems before the file gets to closing. Most importantly, they provide a high level of customer service to our home buyers as well as builder partner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee the receipt of a file from a Loan Officer through Final Approval
Communicate with the Loan Officer, home buyer, etc. on any items needed for the file
Review the file for correct stacking order, Automated Underwriting (AU) findings for initial determination, and appropriate documentation. Input any changes into the computer systems and re-run for a correct AU determination. Provide the status of a file to all parties
Submit all files to a DHI Underwriter at a Regional Underwriting Center, and review conditions when received from underwriting. When all conditions are received, make any changes necessary to the computer system and resubmit to the AU system
Read updates and comply with all Quality Control policies, attending QC meetings as scheduled. Review all files for DHI Mortgage required checklists, and respond to all QC write-ups within 10 calendar days
Complete pre-draws for Closing
Submit loan files to Closing after Final Approval
Review Loan Processor reports/dashboards, Project to Close, and Timeline Exception reports daily. The Loans in Process Report should be reviewed on a weekly basis
Attend weekly Loan Processor meetings as directed by Branch Operations Manager
Update comments and communication on all relevant reports
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Qualifications Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree, earned within two years, from four-year college or university
Ability to accurately and efficiently process and record large amounts of data
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred Qualifications
One to two years related experience and/or training preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates with MLOs and members to address underwriting conditions and prepare the file for resubmission.

Orders and reviews pest inspection, appraisal, and flood.
Orders additional inspection, if necessary, based on the initial inspection requested.
Generate redisclosures and cover letters when applicable.
Report invoices and payment of service providers to Accounting.
Coordinates loan closings with attorneys and LCCU closing staff.
Help train new loan processors and other processing personnel.

Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent with 2+ years of recent mortgage lending experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience with Mortgage LOS system(s) and/or TRID compliance preferred.
Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Submit all files to a DHI Underwriter at your Regional Underwriting Center, and review conditions when received from underwriting. When all conditions are received, make any changes necessary to the computer system and resubmit to the AU system

The Pro CRE Loan Specialist position is a specialized position responsible for reviewing and understanding the Commercial Real Estate Loan approval/request, providing thorough, objective analysis of the Loan closing, construction documentation and funding requirements in the RE loan documents, and all supporting documentation required for closing, and confirming that the loan documents provide that the loan is being closed as required by the approval. The closing process may include an objective analysis of the construction documentation and a knowledge of the construction/draw process. This position is expected to lead the RE loan closing, construction monitoring and review process, including funding requests, invoices, AIA requests from the General Contractor, completion requirements as required by the loan documents and other supporting documents and final completion documents. This position ensures collateral remains perfected, legal documentation supports credit approval, and all risk controls have been met in order to proceed with closing and ultimately funding the construction as requested by the Borrower. Loan products include construction loans, term loans, revolving lines of credit and other commercial debt.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review Loan Approval for all deal terms and requirements and confirm that all terms, requirements, and Borrower information is consistent with term sheet, commitment letter (if applicable), and Loan Closing Documents.
Verify customized Loan Closing Documents are complete and accurate according to policies and procedures, and provide comments regarding the documents to bank counsel and the Line of Business as needed.
Work with bank counsel and Line of Business to review the attorney prepared Loan Closing Checklist and the documents received.
Request and review bids from 3

. party Construction Consultant(s) when required.
Review and approve required project construction documents, and forward to 3

. party consultant as required by policy and/or procedures.

Provide documentation to Loan Operations to book, maintain and update the loan tracking system with Borrower and Loan information.

Monitor requirements as provided by executed leases and permanent lenders.
