This position will communicate regularly with the Commercial Loan Officers, members, attorneys, title companies and insurance agencies in providing overall support and assistance for loan documentation preparation, servicing and closing. The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field preferred. * Minimum 2-3 years experience in commercial loan processing, underwriting or related financial experience. * Knowledge of commercial lending products, processes, and industry regulations. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all loan documentation. * Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, colleagues, and external partners. * Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: * Review, verify and process commercial loan applications, supporting documentation and legal forms to ensure timely and accurate data entry into the loan origination system. * Coordinate with commercial loan officers and analysts to gather necessary information and ensure loan packages are complete and ready for approval. * Prepare loan documents for disbursement and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. * Maintain a thorough understanding of loan terms, conditions, and eligibility criteria to effectively process loan applications. * Communicate with team members and external stakeholders to clarify loan documentation requirements, answer questions and maintain accurate records of all loan statuses. * Assist with loan closings, confirming all necessary documentation is present, signed and filed appropriately.
